This movie exceeded my expectations. When it was first displayed as a Metaverse-esque story, I was going to expect some cliche tropes from movies of the same genre. But boy, was I wrong. From what the title of the movie implies, Belle’s story is inspired by Beauty & the Beast. The amount of emotion that resonated with me in this movie was immense. What made it better was how subtle it was at the start, as things were building up. And don’t assume you know where the plot will be going because this movie does not follow the conventions of its theme. This movie tackles so many important ideas, too, and delivers it beautifully through clever cinematography. The music is intoxicating and heavenly, and it harmonizes perfectly with the gorgeous animation.
