Miles Morales outshines its predecessor in many ways. For one, the story is more engaging because the characters introduced are all woven into the story in a meaningful manner- making it more impactful. Secondly, the swinging feels more fluid, especially with the new trick animations transitioning into a swing. And the combat is much more explosive with the implementation of Miles’ Venom powers (which are also used in traversal to keep your swinging momentum). The length of the game made the story not feel drawn out too, giving a bitter-sweet aftertaste once the credits rolled. However, one minor issue is the pricing- it’s priced as a full game which may mislead people thinking it will be as long as its prequel. But overall, it is definitely worth a playthtough!
